Wall of Love for TTW

I enjoy all through the word offerings, but Esther taught me and expose things that I never imagined and I just never understood the foreshadowing of Christ as I do and I see so much in my own life how the Lord is there always and I think this is always his message… he’s always here with us, and he does make a way for us when we cry out to him with a pure heart

The theme is God in the story although never written in Easter hit home. I’ve recently been faced with my mom’s diagnosis of dementia likely Alzheimer’s. It has been an 18 month struggle with her lashing out at me but not my brother in her placement in assisted living. She had a choice on where to live. Looking back I see God’s fingerprints throughout the struggles and positive improvements in the relationship with my brother as we care for Mom. I don’t see much evidence yet of change in my relationship with Mom but there is a glimmer of hope. God has me in the palm of his hand. He is part of my story. I am confident of this.

I was looking for something that can assist me to work a bit more structured through the Bible. As I have lots of time on the road, it would help if it's audible and not too long. I also would like a little bit of insite to the passage but just enough to get me have a better understanding and lure my mind out to ponder and meditate on it untill I get the revelation myself. TTW is just the perfect fit dor excactly what I needed. Thank you so much for making this availible. I shared this with my wife and children who are also following now. I also share this with two ladies that travel to work with me every morning. We can't imagine the day starting without our TTW message every morning.

1 Chronicles helped me better review and understand God's plan for the Jewish people and how set aside David for His purposes

Learning from Matthew 6 has changed the way I pray. Before, I often felt like nothing was happening, and sometimes I even felt uneasy when praying. But through this chapter, I learned that prayer is about speaking honestly to God in secret, not trying to impress anyone. Now I focus on trusting Him with my needs and seeking His kingdom first, and I feel more peace knowing He hears me even when I don’t feel anything special.

Hello and Praise The Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ. I am just amazed by His word. I have never used a Bible audio guide before but I love TTW. It is truly beautiful feet. It has brought to me a whole new perspective. There are sections of these books I had never read. And others make more sense when a history or a background is laid for it. And I can imagine how long it would take me to dig that out on my own. It makes more sense. I like your humour, bytheway, I laugh then rewind 🤣🤣🤣. Another thing I have learnt and I really appreciate is you saying that we read the story like we don't know what happened next like the Hebrew boys in fire and others. I am a scientist too an early scientist trusting God for breakthrough in my career, but I know whom I believe in. Indeed God is Lord over all. regardless of race, gender and physical location. I love the way you avoid being part of the Bible scholars arguments 🤣🤣🤣. If God ever wills, and I come to the USA, I will visit your church in Long Beach, though I have never left Kenya, nor even travelled the whole of it. Thank you so much for being used of The Lord to reach His people. May you and TTW never lack a good thing.

My son and daughter in law used to live with us. Although we didn’t regularly do Bible study together, my daughter in law and I often talked about what we were learning, and we prayed together. We discovered Through the word shortly after they moved into their own house. Now my daughter in law and I do Bible study every day together. It’s fantastic. We’ve both loved digging deeper into scripture with each other. And often we end with very mundane things like “we’re going to Costco on Thursday. Do you need anything?”. Keeping our study times down to earth!🤣

I wasn't raised in a church going family. I have searched my whole life for Jesus and 3 years ago I made a vow that Jesus would be my husband. Since then He has done so many little things for me to let me know he is always with me. My ex son- in-law told me to try TTW and I am so glad I did. This has opened up the Bible in a whole new way. Love it and enjoy it . I tell about the app so they can decide if it is right for them.

This plan has been amazing! I learned so much and hope you do the additional 4 days! I only heard of flat earth theory about 6 months ago. This was fascinating, now I want to hear more about old or young Earth. Please finish the series. Not sure when this was created, but I’m praying for your daughter.

I've been trying to read my Bible daily for about a year now but it is so hard to understand. This app has helped me to understand much better and instead of feeling frustrated I feel good, joyful even, each morning after reading my chapter. I would definitely recommend!

It has reminded me of God's grace and great plan for us his children. I thank God for through the word and I pray that may change lives and turn them towards Christ Jesus

I am going through a tough ordeal. I was sexually harassed at work and went to security and now some of my coworkers are against me for speaking up. I'm having extreme anxiety when I have to go into work. I read Psalm 139 hoping God will help me stand strong and to fight the lies in my head that has caused me more anxiousness. I know God will be with me everytime I have to walk into work with my enemies. He will silence the lies and wickedness. God will always be my protector. He knows my heart and he will be my voice.

This plan and all the plans that I’ve gone through really does help me to have a better understanding of the scriptures. I’ve prayed for better understanding of the Holy Bible and this really does help a lot. I can’t wait to always start a new plan. I’m going through the whole Bible right now and it’s really exciting to me, especially the way the teachings of Through The Word helps a lot.

TTW has brought a clearer understanding of the Bible to me. Now I actually understand how God’s word clearly impacts my life

TTW has been a guide to my walkin Christ . Yes I did even know that I am in Christ or have an understanding about him. My identity is being established, my thoughts are slowly but effectively being transformed and my faith gets increased day by day. But greatest of all I am finding myself in Christ. A specific Journey TTW plan i have started so far and managed to finish last night is Journey 1 .

Journey 7. How Amazing! At the beginning of 2024 I was looking for a Bible plan that led me through the Bible but not necessarily in a year. I had tried excellent Bible plans before but had fallen behind and eventually given up. I did pray about finding the plan because I really wanted to spend time in God’s word and develop a deeper understanding of it. Through The Bible App I found Through The Word. I started on Journey one and absolutely loved it. I told a dear friend and she joined me. Each journey has been awesome. I can honestly say there have been so many days when in my gratitude journal I have thanked God for Through The Word. The journeys have been so exciting. Journey 7 has really spoken to my friend and myself, Deuteronomy and Hebrews guiding us to pay attention to and listen was so pertinent for us. Thank you Kris Langham , Peyton Jones and all at Through The Word . The Journeys are awesome.

Listening to the word and reading along makes the word more clearer,and listening to the explanation before helps bring more insight,the seed of the word is being planted in my heart and it will not be stolen but will bring much fruit. Thank you for TTW!

This plan has helped me tremendously to understand more about the book of Romans. Paul always seemed a little winded and sometimes I would be like just get to the point. With Kris's insight on each chapter, I now have a better understanding of Romans and I appreciate it more than ever.

2 Corinthians is one of my favourite books in the bible and Pastor Kris did it justice in his interpretation for those of us younger in faith (if older in years). Thank you Pastor Kris, especially for the final chapter. I am so grateful for Through The Word, it has touched my heart and helped me to grow in faith, understanding and prayer. Every time I finish a book or plan I have felt it’s been my favourite so far! I look forward to starting a new book on Monday, as I continue a year through the bible from a different perspective. I love that Jesus came knocking at my door when I wasn’t looking, I cannot imagine life without the gospel and the Holy Spirit’s direction in my life. Keep up the good work TTW team!

Since I started using Through The Word, I actually look forward to getting in to my Bible every day. It helps you understand more. The app don't just read you the Bible but it gives to example stories as well as break down what the chapter is going to be abouut.

I read the Bible every day and I found myself falling asleep as I read. I searched for Bible app to help me stay focused and interested while actually understanding what I was reading. This plan gave me a much better understanding of Revelation. Granted I still don’t understand it all. However I understand it much better. I plan to listen again one day to understand it even more

This Journey study was inspiring. I was not as devoted to reading the Bible when my children were younger. Our son's were baptized and excepted Jesus, when they were preteen. But, neither follow Him. I can see that my limited knowledge of the Bible and Proverbs effected how my sons grew up. If I had learned or put more effort into understanding God's word, They would have been more receptive of life challenges. I and my husband, see in them a glimmer of hope. We will not give up on them. By God's grace they can be brought back into the Lord's family. In Jesus name, this a pray. Amen Thank you TTW for your devoted and spiritual teachings.

In my deepest depression, actually for my whole life, being in the Word has always been a challenge. I know I need to study I’m more depth (and I will), but TTW makes it so I can at least create a daily habit where I’m at. Saw TMT while starting with J1 and was intrigued. Through a near death bed confession with my mom, I didn’t discover he was saved until after he died. He was never — from his upbringing —COULD never be the mouth of Jesus (evangelism, teaching) it’s clear through his work ethic that he was always His hands and feet! He did the best he could, but because of his parent’s example, he showed us how to be men there wasn’t much in the way of relational interaction. If TMT can teach this 56yo how to be a better (hu)man, it can reach everyone! I tell anyone who slows down enough about TTW. Specifically, my church’s men’s discipleship group meeting meets twice a month and usually uses MacArthur book studies (currently in Genesis). Explained how TTW can be added as more of a telescopic look while MacArthur as a microscope. Do TTW week 1, be able to create the group so the men can check in while having the the full 2 wks to read and study with MacArthur. PLUS, we never have to sound ridiculous trying to pronounce those names!!! NOTE: my profile pic is in solidarity with my older brother who is battling pancreatic cancer. PRAY the Lord draw him ever closer!!!

In 2019 my daughter & her husband moved in with us until they could find jobs and a place to live. My daughter listened to TTW and shared it with me. I’ve always struggled with daily devotional time. I began using TTW and I love it. I use it every day. Some of my grandkids now have phones. We began a family group chat to help keep everyone informed on what’s happening in our lives. Two years ago I began sending a “verse of the week” every Monday to the group chat. Many times I share what I learned on TTW. My daughter (who was living with us has since moved into their own home) also shares what she’s learned on TTW. Now 2 of my granddaughters are using TTW as their daily devotional. That’s three generations! God is using you greatly! Thank you

TTW is really a word companion. The narration before the chapters helps me go though the verse with context. I found it very useful and helpful.

TTW is a wonderful app for those who want to know more about God. I hunger and thirst for God's Word every day. I look forward to learning more because the pastors help us understand each chapter of the Bible. They share their wisdom and knowledge with all of us.

The Lent Journey has touched my heart more ways than one. Because of this plan, I was able to finish one of the Gospels for the 1st time ever and that really got to me I got to see Jesus through John's lens and got a deeper understanding as to what genuine love (agape) is Thank you so much TTW for this plan and for the consistent effort in helping everyone keep and cultivate a Bible habit. I've loved this plan so much because it has taught me about God's plan for humankind and has shown me that all the events through history are not by mistake but they are very intentional plans of God for the human race to be saved by grace through Jesus Christ 💞

I personally love the way God uses through the word to teach me something new everyday. I enjoy coming to it daily to listen and learn. I have picked up a few things to note in the book of Colossian I just completed that we should be graceful in our speech and be awesome just like Jesus. Good morning just want to say thank you for through the word app it has really been a blessing to me and my family thank you

I discovered this app some years ago and it’s changed the way I can study and learn the scripture. I have been able to share it with many people who struggle with reading the Bible or knowing what to study. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a child, no matter the age, go through cancer. Know your family is being prayed for…I grew up in an extremely legalistic environment and have spent much of my adult life relearning the gospel and at times learning it or hearing it for the first time. I’m almost 50 and your study on Daniel and Revelation was absolutely amazing. I have used it in so many ways in my life and others. For the first time, I clearly understood how well the OT and NT complimented each other. I know that may sound odd, but growing up in the 70’s-80’s it was like they were different “stories” and “God’s”. You helped tie it together and gave a clear understanding of the intention of Revelations. It was no longer a mysterious and scary book you only talked about in dark corners of the church. Like it was something out “This Present Darkness”. It was now a bright and shining book of hope and love. I personally would love to have more studies on science and the Bible because this world is quickly heading that direction and it feels like even Christians are putting aside wisdom and discernment for belief in “science”. I have recently come across more Christians that get caught up in details that don’t matter, at least in my opinion, because they aren’t real matters of the heart. However, having some logical answers or guidance would help in muting some of those loud arguments. I tend to remind them the Bible clearly states there or things we will never know or understand and Jesus clearly stated we will not know here in this life. Another lesson I learned from your study of Daniel and Revelation. Anyhow, I have been able to return to a regular time in the morning with our Lord, not as a way to check off a box on my list, but out of desire and a growing love and interest in His plan for my life and how I can impact my kids, grandkids, and those that walk into my business each day.

TTW has helped me to study and understand the Bible better.The books of Mark and Colossians offered me profound spiritual benefits that nurtures my faith and deepen understanding of Christ's identity and shapes me to live as a Christian. I'm encouraged to surrender and faithfully follow Christ through sacrifice and service. Thanks Kris.

Interesting to learn that in the midst of evil world and crooked leadership God still cares about His people and raises up prophets who speak His oracles and helps people to turn people back to God.

During the years of Covid I found that I wanted to have a closer relationship with God to understand what the world was going through. The TTW app helped me immensely to grow and understanding of God and what he wants from me. through the knowledge I gained, I was able to help others find their way to God, most notably, my wife. Using the app daily helped us go through so many key moments in our marriage thus far. I cannot wait to go through each plan as I have just completed journey number two.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have come across TTW. A very interesting way of following the bible as a book, excellent presentation with real life funny examples too. The app is great. The Pastors help you understand what the Bible is saying.. Kris Lingham cracks me up sometimes what he says. He doesn't joke about the Bible, but he jokes about regular life. I love the Bible. I won't stop listening to TTW. I have listened and read the Bible over and over and the person just can't drink it all in at one time. I have been going through all the marriage journeys together with a young engaged woman. Wow! It has been an incredibly powerful tool for her. Being married almost 40 years and desiring to be happily married; not just grow old together, has garnered some insight, mistakes and glorious redemption (rinse and repeat in marriage!) that my young friend has forever captured on audio recording. The audio guides are some of the best at tackling scripture that has been misinterpreted and utilized inappropriately in the church. Well done friends!
