Wall of Love for TTW

I am so thankful to Kris for his depth of knowledge about this book and how he presented it. It was so much fun picturing myself sitting there listening to a grandfather tell the story. I pray blessings you and your whole team and keep up the great work! This study was such a blessing to me and my friends who went through it together!

I will start by saying I have been a deacon for 7 years, year 6 we merged our church with another church and it has been both good and bad. We have gone through this like a marriage, but like a marriage we are done with the honeymoon phase. 3 months ago I started year 8 this time being the chairman of the board. The last 3 months have been some of the hardest I have had to endure in a church setting (for clarification I mean hard for a board at church, my family and I are healthy and have nothing to complain about) there has been arguing and trying to figure out how to move forward. I'm one of those volunteer for everything kind of people, I don't feel particularly gifted at any one thing but God has blessed me with the mind set that I can say yes and show up and do my best. So arguing in a board room is my nemesis and the thing that drains the life out of me, yet I do feel God has me here for a purpose. Through this agonizing fight I continue to go to the Lord and His word I recently finished journey 13 and am about half way through journey 14. Job has been one of those books I try to avoid but this time it spoke to me like never before, followed by 2 Corinthians and one of the first things Kris says is "welcome to the fight of your life". That summed up my last 3 months perfectly. Yet I continued to struggle, seeking counsel from trusted friends and such. All while working through this book and finally coming to the last chapter and Kris sharing that poem. That was it, that was the arrow that hit the bullseye. Faith is a fight. That brought me to tears, more than once. That was the message I needed to hear to get me out of this funk and back in the fight! Thank you Kris! Thank you through the word for all that you do! Kris you're a good man and I hope I can be an encouragement to you like you have been for me! To keep doing what you are doing! keep going! How do I know you are a good man you might ask? Because I have listened for years to you pouring out your heart and soul in these audio guides! I hope to meet you someday to thank you in person, but until then this will have to do. It has made my relationship with God to go stronger and I can't even go on a day without reading the bible I have a busy schedule but now I can take time to read the word and understand fully

I teach the kids at my church on Wednesday nights and we where between curriculum in August. I had been praying about what to teach for the last three weeks and it seemed like the perfect timing to teach Esther. It worked out beautifully. I pray the kids will be able to apply the lessons learned in their life.

Ruth has always been a special part in my life. But the one point I got out of this the most was the point of the thrashing floor in the realization that as I grow in Christ, the things of this world are blown away, and he draws us closer to him.

Greetings my friend. My brother introduced me to your site and I now listen to it every morning with my cup of coffee. I have read the Bible several times but thanks to Pastor Kris, he opens up new avenues of understanding of God‘s word. What a great dissertation! It is so strange to me that in reading though the Bible multiple times before this I didn’t recognize Haggai as the person mentioned in Ezra 5. Your plans help me see and think of things in ways that most Bible study plans do not. Thank you. I love the Bible verse references (Matthew 6:31-33, and 2 Cor 4;7) and also the realization that when God says, “I will fill this house with glory…” and “the latter glory shall be greater than the former…” is JESUS. Truly, the OT IS the NT concealed and the NT is the OT revealed!

What I like about this whole experience is that I was able to do it with friends and people that I’m close with and we share comments and discuss different points of view that all comes to the same conclusion that Jesus is the way. I love the simplicity of the app And how it allows us to focus on the keys of scripture and the person of Christ and not drive things out of context.

TTW has completely transformed the way I read and understand Scripture. The plans are so well structured that I’ve been able to stay consistent in my Bible reading, even on busy days. Hello, I'm Michael from Kenya. I'm currently on Journey 4 and have just finished the book of Esther. Since I began this journey through the Word, I've experienced significant growth and maturity in how I interact with Christians, non-Christians, and new believers alike. Thank you, Through The Word! I'm excited to share this experience with some friends, and we plan to study together.

TTW has been an inspiring walk through the Word with a good friend. The Pastors, their friends, family and life stories, Biblically historic backgrounds with language definitions has enriched my journey to delight myself in the Lord. I wanted study to be a delight that I may come to love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind by spending time with Him in His Word. Here I am challenged, inquisitive and safe. And being able to talk and hear my accountability partner is just the cherry on top. We have met our challenge to study everyday but not out of obligation but because we can't wait to hear from God daily.

I love all of the journeys that I have been on with TTW. The narrators/pastors are awesome and crack a joke or two sometimes. This app helps me understand more about the Bible. Thanks guys.!

I have enjoyed studying Isaiah with TTW. I completed a 9 month study of Revelation & decided to study Isaiah over my summer break. It blended in very well with the knowledge I gained from Revelation. I like the explanation of dual fulfillment of prophesy. It is exciting to see how some of Isaiah’s prophesy has already been fulfilled, some we can see currently being fulfilled & then more that is future to us that matches what John wrote about in Revelation. Thank you for this study.

I have been a long time believer in Christ but hit a wall when it came to going much beyond basics. I came across Through the Words study on faith. Knowing I had some faith, I decided that I would go through this study searching to see what part of this I was missing. It was the final study where I found what I was missing. 2 Corinthians 3:4-5 tells us that we do not possess within us the power but must believe that God would give us just what we need at the precise time we need it. Now I have the faith to testify to what God has done and the strength to stand and testify not caring how it appears to others. I just had to testify to the truth and let God show through me the genuineness of the truth I believed and obediently testified to. That is my sole purpose to let God shine through it all

I have totally enjoyed the lessons from the book of Esther. I especially have appreciated that Kris points out that God is not mentioned anywhere in the book and yet he’s all through it at the same time. It reminds me of a time in my married life where my wife and I struggled. Our life felt like it was one problem after another with no time to look up an see the big picture because we had to deal with yet another job change, big appliance breakdown, kid struggling in school, church hurt, medical issues, family issues, etc. It never seemed to stop. We had a deep faith in God. However, our faith was more of an Old Testament view where God was like an angry father who was never pleased with us because we could never be good enough. Then one day…as my wife was telling a co-worker about how we had dodged yet another catastrophe by the skin of our teeth, the co-worker said to my wife “Things just work out for you guys”. My wife was stunned to hear that because she didn’t feel that way at all. When she told me what her co-worker had said, I was equally stunned that someone could think that about us. Until…we started thinking and remembering. We reviewed all the instances where we thought we’d never would make it and yet we did. Time after time…things just worked out. We were amazed…and a bit humiliated…because we never saw God’s deliverance nor ever gave Him proper thanks. Now …years later…as I’m writing this…we have had a power surge hit our house because of a breakage in the power coming into our house. This surge has fried multiple devices in the house and damages are in the thousands of dollars. But…I’m so proud of the growth God has helped us obtain. He has help us understand that He isn’t the angry father. Rather, He’s the Good Shepard who loves us and watches over us and makes sure that…things just work out for us. Consequently, later that night as we sat in a hotel room trying to figure out how to handle this new issue, we didn’t sulk, mope about, or complain. Rather we were full of gratitude and offered prayers of thanks that our faithful Good Shepard took care of us yet again. This has happened during a time that we have the means to deal with it. Nothing critical has been damaged. The things that were damaged were all inconveniences that will only require time and money to fix without too much bother. Things are working out. So, my conclusion in the matter of where is God when he is not seen is that you will see the God that you believe in. Jesus said that the eye is the lamp of the body and asked how much darkness is within us. If we believe in an absent God, we won’t see God in our circumstances. If we believe in an angry God, we will see his condemnation. If we believe in a faithful Good Shepherd, then we will see his love and protection in everything we experience. Esther and Mordecai believed in a God that would protect them if they acted faithfully, and that is what He did. Things just worked out. The tables were turned, and the people were saved. Thank God for a God that makes things work out for those He loves and who believe in Him.

I’ve been using this app for years now I have completed 25 books, 10 Journeys along with Holy Week and Lent. I’ve been a Christian since I was 15 but like Chris, I drifted off in the weeds for about 8 or 9 years then I met my wife also a believer. We’ve been married over 35 years and we both use this app. I’ve shared it with countless people in my travels and it helps me stay in Gods Word every day, well almost every day. I have a group of about 15 that have joined me for the daily study and I share a recap each day to encourage them in their walk. I have gained great insights from the various pastors that share their recap of the chapters each day and I too share my daily thoughts and take away in a text to my group. On Sundays I lead a young blended SS class at my church, married & singles and we used the app for some of the Revelation study. Thank you for creating this app is has strengthened my faith and time spent in Gods Word.

In reading and hearing these words , guided along by Kris, I am able to see the joy of the promise brought forth through the horror of things that must come to pass. Thank you.

As a double time elder (full time employed in the world and elder after hours) I find immense help early in the morning before clocking in. This plan opened up new thoughts other than those I was aware of; a fresh perspective! TTW is advised as a tool to those who struggle to read the word in our church's (Joshua Generation & Four 12)

Whatever God has decreed and assigned me to do I must praise and worship Him fully first then seek to obey and do according to His word. He will definitely accomplish it

The plan, the fight of your life, was used by God to encourage me during a very difficult time. My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was in great pain and couldn't do anything for herself. After being up with her each night from 2am to 3am, what I called our date night, and she would settle back down to sleep in her chair, i was led to the ttw app. I listened to the plan every night, going through the book of Job and all that Job went through. God was so close to us during this time and used your ministry to strengthen and encourage me. My wife is now with Jesus but I know Jesus is with me. Focusing on God and his word is key to living this life for Him no matter what happens.

The plan has help me to have the scriptures as my companion at all times. When am eating, I listen to the word of God from the app, when I'm at work I listen to the word of God from this app. I'm beginning to get addicted to hearing God's word and that is my goal. I thank God because this plan is really helping that goal to manifest. Thank you very much for this awesome app.

Well I have read Esther but not like this, it made me understand it more. The illustrations were perfect, I am glad you made this app, it's a useful tool for intensive Bible reading too. TTW has help me to study my Bible more often, giving me encouragement in the Word, and has increased my understanding of scripture. I am going through the journey with my daughter and her church member. TTW has helped me and my daughter communicate with each other better.

TTW has been a great study tool that I have been able to share with our Sunday School class, Womens Ministry, family, and friends. It encourages me to study Gods Word. I love the breakdowns before the scriptures. It gives us more insight to look for in the scriptures. This App is a true blessing!

I’ve so appreciated, the teachings of scriptures, that have helped me gain a deeper understanding that I may never have picked up on by myself. Each chapter of each book has a message that speaks to me today.

I love the way that everything is explained to me as we read. I feel a sense of relief to know that I can read and comprehend the Bible. I’ve actually gotten better at reading it with or without audio. I’m touched by the fact that there is an app that allows me to learn and get closer to his word. I’ve shared it with all my family 🤍 Today is a day to rejoice. On August 3rd, 2025, the old me died, but I was born again!!!!!!! To watch my boys do the same is even bigger than I could have imagined. Thank you, Lord, that I’m still alive to share my love for Jesus and what he can do for you. This will be a long post, so bare with me. My testimony is scary and it may upset people who care about me and my family. But that was the old me.I have been delivered 🙏🏼 June 10th, 11th, and 12th were the darkest days of my life. For three days, I walked towards hell and didn't have the strength to pull myself out. For three days, I kept hearing the same thing all day: 'You are gone. Your family doesn’t have to suffer anymore. If you are gone, they will only have to grieve for a short time, then they can move on and live happy lives without the burden of my anxieties and depression that had a very strong hold on me.' I finally gave in on the second day. I drank until I couldn’t stand, then tried to take as many anxiety meds as I could, until my husband caught on to what was going on. Still, I lay in the bed in the dark with the devil. I didn’t know it at the time, but my oldest son came and laid with me, and he prayed over my body for a long time. He held me when he didn’t have to. After I put everybody through all this pain, he still stayed in there, and he still prayed over me. The next day I woke up, I was in my room, in my bed, still in the dark, still ready to do what I set out to do, and then out of nowhere, I felt my son come back in there, grab me by the hands, and instead of begging me to get up, he cried out loud and told me how much he needed Jesus and how he wanted to lead this family and how he wanted us to go to church and change our lives. In that instant, it felt like a boulder was lifted off of my chest. I stood straight up out of my bed. I promised him and God right then that our lives were changing. God spoke through my son, very loud and very clear, and he knew exactly what he was supposed to do for me to pull me out of where I was, and I will forever be grateful for my son. He is a warrior for God. He is an intercessor. He is going to help lead this family straight to Jesus. If God can pull me straight out of hell, he can pull anybody out of anything. I am alive today because my son did not give up. He did not stop praying. My family isn’t grieving me; instead we are celebrating Jesus, and we’re learning about his word, and we’re only getting better. If God never answers another prayer for me, I will still be grateful that he put these people in my life and that he brought me back to life. I will still walk in the path of righteousness because I know I will meet him face-to-face one day, and I can thank him for saving me.

What a journey it has been looking at different Kings and Kingdom of Judah & Israel. Whoever rules you can either lead you to or away from God. In all this God's Steadfast Love and Abundant Grace remains constant even in judgement

I just finished Romans, it’s a book I’ve read before but going chapter by chapter in TTW has helped me understand soooo much. I specifically understood the unity God wants us to have and to not judge each other but love one another. Another thing I realized is I have to put others first, I cried in chapter 12 because “all I have is from God and for others” I guess I am pretty selfish and hadn’t even noticed. Praise Jesus for all the people who put this together. I found this app to be amazing and wanting more .This walk has opened my eyes and heart to Jesus. I share this with others as I can . This plan enabled me to read the book of Esther and see it through a different lens. As I read the book with the plan, I saw God show up in places that I previously read through and hadn't noticed God working. Thank you for the plan which brought new insight. I never read through the book of Levitcus all my 70+ years, because I found it boring in the past. I didn't even know that it was about the priesthood. Giing through this book has given me an understanding of it - namely, the rules, responsibilities and guidelines for the Livites.

I am so grateful for Through the Word. My sister and I recently started journeying together through the Word, and it has been such a blessing. She is currently on leave after a double mastectomy and now going through chemotherapy, and this has been a truly special way for us to connect, grow in faith, and find encouragement together. Hi there, I want to thank all at TTW. For the first time the Bible makes sense to me. I am excited every morning to do my Bible study. I believe this brings me closer to our wonderful Abba Father. Journey 2 has been interesting and challenging all at the same time. I found myself reexamining some “truths” that I have been caring around and portraying in my life that I never should have picked up. Along the way I was blessed with correction in love and grace through the Holy Spirit

As always when I journey with TTW my perspective changes and I am presented with another facet of God's omnipotence and omnipresence. But what I really saw this time in the book of Esther is the prophecy.

It’s has opened my heart up to do more and too follow Gods calling in my life thank you so much, pray for me to be a better follower than what I was !!

I needed a revival of my soul and fresh start. TTW is the instrument God used to refresh my soul and longing for His WORD.

Wow this was exciting. The Lords righteous anger was seen. What the devil turns to destroy God used for his glory. I really enjoyed it. It made my morning walk great. I looked forward to the story everyday plus I like Chris’s voice.

Thank for the Esther plan. Esther became my now 27 year old daughters favorite when she received the Veggie Tales Esther DVD, as a child. While in youth group she was told, by the youth minister, that she was wrong to like Esther and that the book should not be part of the Bible because God isn't in it. While she didn't really believe him, and I encouraged her to see God in it, his words still confused her. Having your plan has helped us see God and reassure us of His presence in a book that definitely has a place in His Bible.

A eye opening reminder of God’s faithfulness. I need to dwell in “Esther’s” story again. Thank you for taking time to help us understand and see God at work.

Wow - I have so many notes from this chapter and feel like Ezekiel is one of my favorite prophets… that said, once I got to ch 43 I was wrecked. The establishment of the new temple and specifically the resumption of sacrifices for sin offerings causes me to really reflect on my faith. I know Sandy Adams supposes that these “millennium sacrifices” look backward to what Jesus did for us - but I’m not getting that as I read it. It feels here as if God is reinstating his laws. Why? If Jesus came to fulfill the law - why this? And WHO is the Prince that is offering sacrifices, who has sons? This book revealed a lot but called me to question even more m, so if you ever decide to redo it - please consider digging a little bit more into the explanation for this.

This is what I took away from the book of Ester. No matter what the outcome stay true to who you are and have faith in Jesus. Because he is always there, even though we may not realize it!!!!

TTW has helped me start a good Bible habit! I like sharing it with my friends and family. Each book and word I listen to helps me keep my heart and mind in a better and happier place in life.

I started through the word after my husband passed away. I’ve always read parts of the Bible here and there, but never really got into it, he suffered for 13 years with liver cancer. Then I was fighting depression, financial destruction, and my own health deteriorated. Then I discovered through the word app I did one or two the studies and then I decided I’m going to do the Old Testament and New Testament. I have learned so much., it was easy to understand even went through some of the most difficult chapters. I got it so thank you. I cannot tell you how much it has helped me.
