TTW helps so much. I am so thankful for TTW. Explaining the way all the teachers do really helps apply it to the very day life. I have been studying the Bible most of my life and these explanations are so touching. If only I had this when I was younger something’s would have been very different. I read it many times before but put on a whole new meaning it is so exciting to want to read the next chapter. Hi I am an Adjunct Professor and I listen to TTW, music or books you know keep the mind engaged while posting grades or peer reviews, etc. Today I was listening to Science and the Bible which is awesome! But the last two touched me as my beautiful 44-year-old daughter diagnosed with JRA at 3-months now also has a heart condition. Your story of your daughter brought me such joy! Because when she was diagnosed with JRA my step-father would tell me well the Bible tells you: “the sins of the father.” I know that is not what was meant but that nagging voice came back. Three years ago when she had open heart surgery, and again when the symptoms came back as did our Dr journey..seeking a second opinion. Today, you reminded me the journey we are on and to have peace! You have also stuck a song on my brain by The Byrd’s “Turn! Turn! Turn!” Taken straight from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. Great reminder this is a season…trust in God!

This short study is so impactful to me. To be reminded of God’s sovereignty over people, generations, nations, and ultimately bringing His will to fruition through the ages, gives me a sense of awe and wonder. His ways are so good. He is trustworthy in spite of how I assess the day. This study has deepened my worship of our God who cares for us, allows consequences for us and ultimately is the giver and provider of His salvation for those who bow and receive in spite of their (my) sin. Thank you Lord. Obadiah 1:15 - The day of the Lord is near for all nations. (Amen).

In my 48 years of life I’ve never picked up a Bible without being forced by my parents..My wife told me about through the word so I decided to give it a try. Instead of listening to my normal gangster rap everyday on my way home from work. I started listening to journey 1. I’ve just finished Journey 3 and I must say this app has changed me and helped my faith…To be totally transparent every now and then I flip on the old playlist (especially on my Friday) but when I do I feel like I not supposed to be listening for the first time in my life. Thank you so much for taking the time to make such a wonderful app. I know to god be the glory but I thank the lord for giving you this vision…. Sincerely Tyrone Chapman

I started the Genesis plan on YouVersion, finished it, and then slid right on over to the Through The Word (TTW) app — and listen… this app has been doing something to me. 😩😂 I love that they give you a devotional BEFORE the reading, because the way it sets the scene? I be like “Ohhhhhh, THAT’S what’s going on.” Now, I’m 46 years old. Been in church since I was seven. I’ve sat through sermons, Sunday school, Bible studies — you name it. But tell me why it’s only been the last few years that I’m finally understanding what I’ve been reading all this time?! THIS plan right here? It’s been flipping on light bulbs like I’m walking through a whole spiritual Costco. 💡💡💡 For example: I’ve always heard about the “12 tribes of Israel.” Cool, cool. Read Genesis multiple times. Cool again. Then TTW comes along and says one little thing in a devotional and next thing you know, I’m on Google like a whole Bible detective. 🔍😂 When I realized the 12 tribes weren’t named after “Israel” the place — but Israel the PERSON (aka Jacob after God changed his name)… whew. 🤯 I had read that part before but apparently my mind just skipped right over the name-change like it was optional! TTW made me slow down, actually pay attention,and SEE the story! Now I’m over here hungry like, “Okay God, what ELSE have I missed?! What other plot twists have I been walking past for 40 years??” And don’t even get me started on the moment I finally connected the dots about who Moses’ family was. When I tell you I had to sit back… My. God. Today! 🫢🔥 I will be sharing TTW by any link necessary!! 🤗

I'm 66 and have always believed but never really studied God's Word so I am relatively new to this. I have listened to a number of Bible reading/teaching plans and really like Kris Langham's voice, pace, expanations, humor, and overall knowledge. I found Through the Word in the Bible.com app and after completing a couple of the plans is when I discvered the stand alone TTW app which I like as well. IMHO, If you are looking for a good informational Bible learning source that sticks to good Bilical teachings, I higly recommend Kris Langham's Through the Word.

I stumbled upon TTW through the YouVersion app. I am ever so glad to because TTW and the Chosen series have made the Bible come alive so to speak. The explanations, the examples and the quips(mostly from Pastor Chris) have made reading the Bible an enjoyable learning experience for me. As a 68 y/o go to church on Sundays to check the box and feel good about myself person I just existed I think. I never actually sat down and read the Bible. Because of finding TTW about four years ago I now look forward to my mornings of devotions and learning (not just reading words) the Bible. Thank all of you who work in this ministry. I feel like a Christian now, not just a church goer. Bless you all!

I don’t know what happened to me but after the Charley Kirk killing I just started to feel this hunger to start learning again about God and I truly want to change my life to be more like Christ. I have always believed in God but something changed inside me, like it is now really important to me and I want to change my lifestyle to reflect more about what Jesus is like and what he wants of me personally. I have been using this app almost every day for about an hour and a half as I take my walk with God and enjoy thinking about his word. I know this feeling I have doesn’t seem very dramatic but something has definitely changed in me and I think about Jesus all day long and pray constantly throughout the day. So am sending now. 🌼 My amazing Bible Study Sisters group have had an absolutely wonderful experience going through the EPIC book of Esther together. The 4 of us study daily across the world from Australia to America to England. Esther has been so exciting, like watching a 10 part movie series. Between us, the adventure was so full with loads of interesting questions and communications, as we dug in so deeply with extra research and imaginatively recreating the scenes of each chapter in our sharing and thought process. I can not express how blessed we all are for going through this study together. We learned so much that I want to go back and listen to it all again with our well over 200 voice messages between us!!!! 😄 such an epic adventure Through The Word. It has challenged me, made me grow in my faith and definitely helped me to understand Gods Plan for all of us. I am 74 and how I wish I would have had something like this when I was much younger! THROUGH THE WORD …don’t leave home without it…you never will because you never leave home without your phone do you? Even my dog enjoys reading along with me. Thank you Kris and staff for a job well done!
