I also wanted to share some updates and say thank you. In an interview this morning, I lacked direct Analytics experience, but I was upfront about that early on and pivoted to walk through my data platform experience that was still relevant to the role. By the end of the interview, the hiring manager told me he wants me to talk to the CPO next, he said he doesn't see gaps I can't work through, despite the experience gap. That moment happened because of what you taught me: how to actually read a JD for the problems a company is hiring someone to solve, not just the listed requirements. That's a skill I'd never paid real attention to before working with you, and it's already changing how I show up in interviews. I'm genuinely grateful for everything I've learned from you so far, and I hope to work together again in the future.

it must be all your coaching. cos i have interviewed on and off internally so many times in the past few years but i didn't get anything. i think it's subtle changes to things like how i respond to "tell me abt yourself" that made the difference and you helping with reading the JD and so i know what to say pre-emptively like "i work with go-to-market a lot"

I used Nancy's playbook on "Tell Me About Yourself" for the recruiter screen today. I talked about how the company has changed my life and inspired my own journey, and added some of my own flavor to speak to the relevant keywords in the job description. Plus I asked what resonated about me. The recruiter was bought in within the first 15 minutes and advanced me to next stages. They actually said "it gives them goosebumps when someone's journey is inspired by us". Thank you Nancy! My new playbook now for TMAY when meeting new people.

I wanted to let you know that I received an offer for the Director of Product Management role today. Thanks for your help. It was different from my previous interview experience: I had eight 1-hour behavioral interviews with senior leadership. I could not have succeeded without learning BLUF, the Favorite product framework, the "Why" behind the question, etc.

🐦 How do you Quantify Success (What are your key goals, What would you want to accomplish as part of creating the results, Identifying the root of it, Understand the Criterion)
