Hi there, my name is Emil Warner, I run Palette.fm it’s an AI photo editor on the browser. It has more than 1M users. I integrated testimonial a few weeks back, and I saw a significant increase in conversation from free to paid users, so that’s been great! Integrating testimonial took less than an hour, I had to tweak the CSS a little bit but after that, it was smooth running. It’s also great because people can see the testimonial and can see how people are using my editor but also people can see different use cases. Maybe there is like 50 different testimonial so far from Twitter and also from user-submitted testimonials. People can see a wide range of use cases for my product which has been great. Over and out from Paris, cheers! — Emil Wallner, Founder and CEO @ Palette.fm

Who are you and what is Palette.fm?

I'm Emil and I created Palette, an AI photo editor with an initial focus on colorization. I'm an independent AI researcher from Sweden and I used to work for Google.
Palette is used by more than one million people worldwide and has a wide range of users, from Japanese pensioners looking to bring their old memories to life to professionals working on Netflix Originals. It's a simple tool that delivers high-quality results.

How is your AI Photo Editor using Testimonial?

I have an auto-scrolling Wall of Love on my landing page where I use testimonials from Twitter, Instagram, and via testimonial.to’s form.
Most of the testimonials are combined with images created with Palette. This helps users to see authentic results created by other users, and what they can expect to see. It also gives a quick glance at the many use cases of Palette.
I have a link at the bottom of my landing page and I also use Bento, an email marketing tool, to ask for testimonials once they purchase a plan.

What has been the result/impact of using Testimonial?

I saw a significant increase in conversions since I implemented Testimonial. For context, I also implemented a few other features that week and my traffic tends to fluctuate, but I’m confident it’s worth the investment.

How was your experience creating and integrating Testimonial.to?

I did the integration myself. Importing testimonials was quick and simple and I made the integration in a few minutes. I had some small issues with z-indexing, styling, and loading the images smoothly, but the support team was quick to help.
