Wall of love for ProductLab Conference

Technical Product Owner at Verkstedt

I recently attended a fantastic ProductLab Community & Conference> event at the N26 offices, organized by Daniele Ronca. ๐Ÿš€ It was a great opportunity to hear Akash Kedia, Director of Products at N26, and Mayur Kamat, CPO at N26, share their experience and insights on transitioning free users to paid subscribers. Favorite Takeaway: Trust is keyโ€”especially with long-time customersโ€”so donโ€™t compromise what youโ€™ve built for short-term gains. Sustained loyalty grows when you prioritize user benefits and clearly show the value theyโ€™re paying for. Highlight what truly sets you apart, and deliver benefits they canโ€™t find anywhere else. Special thanks to the awesome panel moderator, Veronika Morozovรก, and everyone else who made this event possible!

Here are my predictions for product management in 2025, taken from my recent talk in Berlin. Making predictions is obviously a fools' game, because no one knows what's going to happen in the future, and you're only ever one announcement away from being made to look stupid. I was asked in the Q&A how I came up with these predictions. It's simple enough: ๐Ÿค” Keep an eye on the current prevailing narrative ๐Ÿค” Apply a filter based on the incentives & motivations of the narrators ๐Ÿค” Learn about the capabilities and limits of technical enablers ๐Ÿค” Extrapolate using your understanding of human nature ๐Ÿณ Wait for the egg on your face Anyway, the predictions: 1๏ธโƒฃ LinkedIn will remain a hellhole (and probably get worse) - we're awash in engagement-bait slop, AI-generated garbage and algorithmic choices that reinforce all of the above 2๏ธโƒฃ The job market will improve (but itโ€™s still tough out there) - check out James Gunaca's wonderful job market reports. The trend is up but the numbers are low. Concentrate on differentiating yourself if you want to get an interview. 3๏ธโƒฃ PMs will have to justify their existence (but this is probably a good thing) - anyone who can't justify themselves is probably in trouble, and we should stand up for our craft and the benefits of our role (which many people think they can do, simply because they only see parts of it)] 4๏ธโƒฃ AI will NOT kill product management - don't keep your head in the sand, do keep up-to-date with developments and try to see through the hype. Consider the motives of the people tub-thumping the loudest, but also realise that naysayers are probably wrong too. Use AI for what it's good at, and don't have unrealistic expectations. Happy 2025!

Even in winter, #Berlin is a fantastic techhub for fascinating people and events. Yesterday, after five years, I finally participated in my first in-person event on Product Prediction! Why such a long gap? Iโ€™ve juggled a full-time job, taking on my first managerial role and mothering two small kids. In the process, I deprioritized getting to know new people and exploring fresh ideas. Honestly, sometimes, I have deprioritized my friends. Last night, I met an inspiring leader, Eva Schreyer! (such a beginner luck ๐Ÿ€) Also, I found myself a fan and follower of #ProductLab! Thanks to Daniele Ronca, Jason Knight, Tobias Janiesch, and the #SumUp team for hosting such a fantastic event. My takeover: * What helps PMs the most in advancing their careers isnโ€™t a university degree or formal trainingโ€”itโ€™s their coworker/ coaches/ mentors โœจ , and self-directed learning ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป (see survey results) * Your mindset and fitness for the PM role matters If youโ€™re feeling stuck or stagnant,  get out of that bubble! find yourself a mentor or coach to help you move forward!

Last Thursday, I had the chance to attend ProductLab Community & Conference>'s meetup about AI, where Fabian Strunden (Miro) and Nicolรฒ Pignatelli (GetYourGuide) shared their valuable experiences in integrating ML and AI into their products. I came away with some great ideas to incorporate into my roadmap (my insightful slides in the pictures) In addition to the inspiring presentations, I was delighted to reconnect with old friends from our small but vibrant community. A huge kudos to Daniele Ronca for organizing such an insightful event (as usual), to GetYourGuide for hosting us in such a comfortable space, and to the speakers for their thought-provoking insights!

Last week, I had the chance to meet Marty Cagan at a meetup organized by ProductLab Community Conference at Google's Berlin office. Thanks to Daniele Ronca for organizing such an impactful event. That meetup was full of true gems. I'm still mesmerized by all of them. For starters, a big eye-opener is what Marty shared with us about the Product model is Where Product managers could strive. Product managers are not the only ones responsible for bringing value, but rather it is a shared responsibility between Product, Design, and Technology. However, Product managers are responsible for owning their organizations' business viability. Moreover, Marty brought true wisdom by framing product leadership competency. The best way of empowering product people is by providing better management, not less management. Founder-mode leaders could shape the success or the failure of the team, that depends on their way of providing deep knowledge and coaching. "Delegation without coaching is just setting up the team to fail" - Marty Cagan

Sometimes, dreams need persistence. "Inspired" isnโ€™t just a bookโ€”itโ€™s my favorite guide to product management. Meeting its author, Marty Cagan, has been a dream of mine for years. When I heard Marty was coming to Hamburg in April 2024, I triedโ€”and failed. I was crushed, thinking Iโ€™d missed my only chance. Then came the Berlin event announcement. The catch? I was determined to make it this time, but there was a problemโ€”I already had a ticket to Web Summit on the same day, and ProductLab Community Conference events sell out in minutes. Still, I set my alarm for 7 AM (on vacation, no less!) and secured my ticket. The event? Incredible. Martyโ€™s 90-minute talk was exactly what I needed, addressing the challenges Iโ€™m navigating now and reigniting my passion for product management. A huge thank you to Daniele Ronca, Ahmed Wafaey, Delivery Hero, Google for making this dream come true โค๏ธ . It was everything I had hoped forโ€”and more.

โœจ This week, I attended an inspiring talk by Marty Cagan at the ProductLab Community event, and it highlighted something Iโ€™ve observed during my own experiences. Many companies still havenโ€™t fully adopted the concept of empowered product teams. Itโ€™s not uncommon, especially for organizations that have been around for a while, but transformation is crucial for driving better results and outcomes. Marty shared a clear framework for what it takes to transform product organizations. Itโ€™s not just about hiring product managers, building features, or following a roadmap. True transformation requires intentional changes across the team, the process, and the mindset. Here are some key insights from the talk that stood out to me: ๐Ÿ”ด ๐—˜๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐˜€ ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜ ๐—™๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ A strong product manager is the key. They need to bring together business sense, customer understanding, data insights, and knowledge of industry trends. Engineers are not just implementers. Theyโ€™re critical problem solvers who should be involved in product discovery from the start. And stakeholders? Theyโ€™re collaborators, not dictators. For this to work, they must trust the product team. ๐Ÿ”ด ๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† + ๐——๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† = ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ Marty emphasized the importance of having a solid process for continuous discovery and delivery. Discovery ensures youโ€™re solving the right problems. And solution discovery can sometimes be more valuable than problem one. Delivery ensures youโ€™re solving them quickly and effectively. Both must work together to drive outcomes. Transforming from feature teams to empowered product teams takes time. It requires building trust with stakeholders and showing measurable results. Starting with a pilot team that can demonstrate success is often a great way to prove the value of this approach. One of the most impactful takeaways for me was how Marty broke down the skill set a product manager needs to lead this transformation. Itโ€™s about understanding the constraints and needs of stakeholders, staying ahead of market trends, and connecting the dots between customer problems and business goals. This talk resonated with me as Iโ€™m currently interviewing with companies and having conversations about their product processes. Itโ€™s clear that while not every organization has fully embraced empowered product teams, the potential for transformation is always there. ๐Ÿ’ก Have you experienced the shift from feature teams to product teams in your organization? Or are you still on the journey? Letโ€™s discuss! Thank you, Marty Cagan, for such a thought-provoking session and the ProductLab Community Conference for organizing another great event. Looking forward to the next one! โ€ฆmore
If you woke me up at 4 a.m. and asked about the two books that made the most significant impact on my professional mindset I'd say "No Rules Rules" and "Inspired". This week I had the chance to listen to and meet their authors Erin Meyer and Marty Cagan in person at two great events in Berlin. As an introvert, I've never actually approached celebrities in my life, but this time it was a real pleasure to ask them for a handshake and a photo ;) Thank you Daniele Ronca and DeepL for organizing events that brought such wonderful guests to the stage ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ’ซ Meeting Marty Cagan at Google Campus in Berlin What a rare and exciting opportunity for product people in Berlin to meet Marty Cagan in person โ€” I very enjoyed this wonderful event! Having worked for multiple years on both products and transformation / innovation journeys in corporates, I could truly relate to concepts, examples, and best practices highlighted by Marty. His book, โ€œTransformedโ€, is the most influential product management book Iโ€™ve read this year โ€” I highly recommend it to anyone in product, transformation, or innovation management. My favourite ideas from Martyโ€™s talk: โ˜ ๏ธ Processes kill thinking. To become innovative, companies move from processes to principles. ๐ŸŽฏ User centricity is not the most important thing in a successful product. Making the business model work is most essential and is a real challenge. ๐Ÿ“Š The product managerโ€™s role is business-focussed. ๐ŸŒŸ Tonight was absolutely inspiring! I had the chance to attend an incredible talk with the one and only Marty Cagan, where he shared insights from his latest book, Transform. We dove deep into the product operating model and explored what it truly takes to build successful, empowered product teams. As a former startup founder, the discussion resonated on multiple levels. The emphasis on aligning a clear vision with robust business knowledge was very meaningful. Startups thrive when teams are not only empowered but also deeply rooted in the โ€œwhyโ€ behind their work. Marty's insights on fostering a product culture that prioritizes problem-solving and strategic decision-making felt like a powerful reminder of how crucial vision and business understanding are to driving sustainable growth. Now, working within a larger organization, Iโ€™m facing new challenges, especially around aligning cross-functional teams and maintaining agility at scale. Marty's framework for the product operating model provided a clear path forward, emphasizing not just the need for vision but the importance of strong product operating principles that can guide teams to deliver impactful outcomes within complex organizational structures. Some standout takeaways: โ–ถ Product Operating Model: Marty broke down the essential dimensions of product work, from deciding which problems to solve to building and delivering solutions effectively. His holistic approach highlighted the balance between vision and execution. Empowered Teams: We explored the importance of cross-functional roles within product teamsโ€”Product Managers, Designers, and Tech Leads working together to balance value, usability, and feasibility. Product Leadership: Providing strategic context is key. Product leaders must ensure teams understand the bigger picture, enabling them to make informed, impactful decisions even in large, dynamic environments.. One of the best parts? Reconnecting with my amazing product community and catching up with incredible people like Darinka Burovska and Henry Burnett and meeting inspiring experts like Thomas Fredell and Maria von Watzdorf Sharing ideas and experiences with such talented product leaders truly made the night special! ๐ŸŽ‰ A huge thank you to Daniele Ronca , ProductLab Community Conference Community Conference, Ahmed Wafaey and everyone who made this event possible! Back in 2018, as a working student, I spent my college years exploring different roles across several startupsโ€”sales, business development, digital marketing, branding, and editorial. I was determined to find what I enjoyed and where my strengths truly lay. I was convinced I could do it allโ€”except codeโ€”and was on a quest to figure out which path would be the best fit for my post-grad career. Along the way, I was fortunate to have an incredible mentor who handed me a game-changing book: Inspired by Marty Cagan. Fast forward six years, and I had the privilege of seeing Marty Cagan speak on stageโ€”someone whose work, alongside many others, has profoundly shaped my approach to product development. What a great evening with Marty Cagan yesterday talking about his latest book and learnings. It got particularly stuck to me how much "process addicted" European and especially German companies are instead of really focusing on value creation and enabling the teams & PMs to have the right skillset to do that. There is still so much what we can learn to let old habits go and prepare ourselves to innovate consistently. I'm really looking forward to the journey ahead and apply some learnings from the best leaders. Thanks to Daniele Ronca for organising this great event. Looking forward to the next community events <3 โ€ฆsee more

Yesterday, I had an honest meeting with the Godfather of modern Product Management - Marty Cagan ๐Ÿ˜Ž I remember how some years ago, before I had become a Product Manager, I was reading "Inspired" and dreaming that one day I would become a great PM and shake the hand of this amazing person at some great Product conference while being a leader for some marvellous tech product ๐Ÿ˜ด But it wasn't just a dream. It was a plan, and I headed to this plan meticulously and gradually. Now, I'm leading Data and ML products at one of the best (no exaggeration, based on Linked ranking ๐Ÿ˜ ) German startups. And yesterday, I finally met Marty at an outstanding product meetup at Google's office in Berlin ๐Ÿ˜Š Huge thanks to ProductLab Community Conference for organising, precisely to Daniele Ronca Liubov Antonova Elena Eremeeva, and everyone else for making the dream come true :) You guys are doing an outstanding job and running brilliant community and conferences โค๏ธ โ€ฆsee more

Always happy to see Marty Cagan present his ("coming from a place of love!") takes on product management based on his new book Transformed โ€” now updated with a dash of "founder mode" discussion. When I was a junior PM, I struggled to articulate my issues with "fake agile", overbearing micro-managers, pointless feature roadmaps, output-oriented organizations and many other anti-patterns found in "feature factories". Today, I'm grateful that we have Marty and other amazing authors who can not only point to clear evidence of the detrimental effects of bad (product) management, but show that change is possible. I still believe, however, that the discussion needs to be continued - the "founder mode" discussion clearly shows that, despite the tech industry being "data driven", we tend to ignore simple truths when it comes to good leadership. There's a mountain of evidence coming from psychology which shows that creating innovative environments is all about creating amazing culture, overcoming anxiety (on all sides) and other cognitive biases. Will link an amazing article from fellow PM Dave Feldman who articulates some key aspects incredibly well. โ€ฆsee more

I had the privilege of listening to and meeting Marty Cagan in person, thanks to Daniele Ronca ProductLab Community Conference for making it happen. Caganโ€™s approach to product development has significantly shaped my understanding of how to build products. His book โ€œInspiredโ€ is one of the most influential Iโ€™ve read so far. Furthermore, his hypothesis-driven approach strongly resonates with how I try to organize my life. In the end, itโ€™s all about outcomes, not just output. โ€ฆsee more

A fantastic evening with Marty Cagan, filled with actionable insights on product leadership. ๐Ÿ’ก One key takeaway: true empowerment comes from proactive involvement, not passive delegation. Product leaders must dive deep, provide context, and act as coaches to their teams. Without this hands-on support, even the best delegation can set teams up for failure. Itโ€™s a reminder that our role isnโ€™t just about delivery but about building the right products and setting our teams up for success. Grateful to Daniele Ronca for organising such an inspiring session. Looking forward to applying these learnings! #ProductManagement #Leadership #Empowerment #Innovation #Networking โ€ฆmore

I was standing near my chair in the first row and Marty walks in, shakes his hands with me and says "Hi, I am Marty" such a simple person he is, and his simplicity has helped reach the heights and depths of Product Management. Every product manager likes to read the books from iconic Product Leaders like Marty Cagan. And yesterday I got to opportunity to meet the icon in person. Thanks to Daniele Ronca, ProductLab Community Conference, Google and Delivery Hero for hosting an amazing evening with Marty. He presented his findings about the product operating model and how the practises from the big companies could help smaller companies change the way they do product. He beautifully explained the myths around the topic and how to lay the foundation of Product model in an organisation. If you haven't already read his books, you should consider them. I also had the pleasure to connect with some amazing product folks in the city and build some good connections. #product #berlin #productlab #martycagan

A seismic activity was recorded in Berlin yesterday due to heavy applause by the audience to Marty Cagan 's talk on the Product Operating Model(POM). I was there, the vibe was cosmic, sitting in the front row surrounded by product leaders and enthusiasts. Thanks to ProductLab Community Conference, Google, and Delivery hero for making it happen. Daniele Ronca The POM defines the future of the product world, the model is inspired by the product principles of the top product organisations of the world. You can catch all the wealth of Marty's knowledge in his book #Transformed. My top 3 1. Lead with context not delegation: Provide context to think and act. Leaders must understand the areas they manage for delegation under context. #productdiscovery #productstrategy 2. Principles over processes: Don't use processes to cover up for the inability to think. I remember Marty's lines from 'Just Product 2023' , " People will do anything to avoid thinking". #productculture 3. Empowered product teams: PMs represent Business and actively drive viability and not liaison and orchestrate engg. and design meetings. Empowered engg. reps. technology ( feasibility )and design reps. the Users( usability/desirability). The trio is one team! #productdelivery #productsense

This workshop on B2B sales from the ProductLab Community Conference was, in a word, freaking AMAZING!!! OK thatโ€™s two words, but it was THAT good! I will be honest in saying that I didnโ€™t have overly high expectations of this session. To be fair, Berlin has a LOT of meetups, and the likelihood of you leaving there with insights that change your entire approach to your business isโ€ฆunlikely, to say the least. But am I glad to say that I was 100% wrong about this one. The presentation around wellness given by the Urban Sports Club's Product Leaders Mohamed Kotb and Amr Basha was already fantastic. The latter half though, around B2B sales given by Florian Bonnet, was MIND BLOWING. 1) Who are you talking to? When you sell to the Directors, IT leadership, and CFO, there are a whole other set of priorities you need to focus on. In this case, the user is an afterthought. Choose your strategy carefully before you start. 3) Create a system within the client company that enables a โ€œRefer a Colleagueโ€ approach And so much more. Iโ€™ll add more in the days to come. But I cannot WAIT to read Florianโ€™s book and hopefully attend more sessions that he teaches, because there is zero doubt that they will be valuable. #StartupLife #BerlinStartups

This week, I had the chance to attend another ProductLab Community Conference event at Urban Sports Club. As always, it was great to connect with others in product management and learn something new. I really liked Florian Bonnet's talk about B2B growth. The idea is that if you want to use a product-led approach, you need to focus on the end-users, the people who will actually use the product day-to-day. Targeting directors or executives will require a sales-led growth strategy, which will also work, but it can be a slow process. Start with End Users. By creating use cases that fit different roles (like marketing, design, or product), you help teams see how your tool can work for them. When people share what theyโ€™ve created with others, it builds curiosity and interest across the company. ๐Ÿ”ด Offer a Freemium Option. This can help remove initial cost barriers and speed up adoption. Whenever I give talks about #changes and #uncertainties, I'm never quite sure what stories I'll hear from the audience. However, I've consistently observed a collective sigh of relief that such challenging topics are allowed to be explored. Last week at the ProductLab Community meetup, as usual, I shared a talk on navigating changes and uncertainties. This time, I was amazed by the open, frank, and deeply human responses from the audience. People shared stories ranging from minor daily plan changes to the turbulent emotions surrounding layoffs, from the poignancy of life and death to profound explorations of value and meaning. Moments like these continually remind me that companies and societies are made up of people with thoughts and feelings, each on a unique journey. It's often assumed that workplaces demand an almost robotic logic and detachment from their employees. Yet the truth is, we're all human, with human needs, beneath any faรงade we might put on. As we navigate this fascinating world of rapid changes and uncertainties, creating inner space to allow ourselves to process our emotions, and in turn respond wisely becomes increasingly important. As a collective, what might happen if we gradually learn to create that space in the workplace, allowing us to lean into our humanity? What if we create room for poignant experiences to be present, explored, and learned from? What are your thoughts on this? I'd love to hear your experiences and perspectives in the comments below. โ€”โ€” Thank you Daniele for making these amazing events happen. Thank you to the other wonderful speakers, Chiedza, Bedrettin, for sharing your insights and knowledge. And also a huge thank you to everyone who shared your stories in such open, sincere, and brave ways.

I joined the ProductLab Community in Berlin Tuesday evening to talk about โ€œOnboarding Corporate Governance Dataโ€. My main goal of the night was to convince the others that Corporate Governance is quite the cool product category (for some reason people assume differently....๐Ÿ™ƒ). And judging from the discussions we had afterward - I was successful. There were three main onboarding challenges we at Fides faced when starting to build our platform three years ago: โ“How do you onboard data that is hidden in some (scanned) legal document? โ“How do you make sure data is always up to date if certain parts of a workflow usually happen outside your platform (looking at you, Handelsregisterโ€ฆ) โ“How do you deal with the lawyer's phenomenon of โ€œIt dependsโ€ฆโ€ when it comes to data Three years later we have an answer to each of these questions. If you want to hear these answers or are curious about our product or the potential of Corporate Governance as a product category - reach out ๐Ÿค“ Thanks again to all the volunteers at the ProductLab Community and Daniele Ronca!

A Big shoutout to Daniele Ronca, the ProductLab Community & all the amazing speakers who joined us at HelloFresh venue for organizing Such outstanding Data Product gathering and bringing such topnotch speakers. 4 talks in a row where the focus was on very different aspects & very challenging topics: 1-Breaking Problems and Building Products by Rebekka Orth We got the chance to be introduced to the 6 steps framework that Nuvo came up with it to assist Whether you need to build AI solution for the problem you have and How to make sure which type of model would you need. 2- Scaling innovation with Data products by Csaba Tamas Here we had to know the difference between insights, information, and data. Also how the typography of data teams evolve and how to ensure to have the right setup at each stage so that the data teams can deliver in a short time and the decision makers take no time to steer well their actions 3- Onboard Corporate Governance data by Anisja Porschke Anisja had to explain to us what corporate governance means. It was interesting to know how lawyers prefer to work with documents rather than having cloud solutions and a whole journey with Fides to build a legal product. 4-Decision support platform by Dr. Utku Yildirim An amazing presentation about KPI driver trees. We got to know how different KPIs are structured together and the cycle of How changes in product KPIs could influence Customer KPIs and deliver the intended Business KPIs. The Bonus short talk from Goktug Yilmaz and How they think about improvements, testing their ideas at  Colonist, and keeping data in check was on point. A well-organized gathering with lots to offer, IMHO better than many paid conferences. How could I forget about the amazing food and the Djs that set the mode with the music till the end of the gathering after the talks!

How data driven decisions drive top line ๐Ÿ“ˆ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ชI joined a PM meetup in Berlin tonight organised by ProductLab Community. Daniele Ronca - Kudos to a great event btw ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ”ข Csaba Tamas from AWS held a keynote defining how to become a data driven company: 1. The large majority (โ€บ85%) of decisions are based on up-to-date, actionable insights at the point of impact as opposed to gut feeling and biases. 2. Data assets and capabilities are handled as (internal) products, served by the data producers to the consumers and measured by performance and quality metrics. 3. Average Time-to-Insight is used as initial performance metric and % of Staff Accessing Role-Relevant Insights is the metric of progress.

To add AI or not to add AI, thatโ€™s the question! Iโ€™m excited to join ProductLabโ€™s summer party in Berlin next week. Iโ€™ll also share our experiences at nuvo, particularly how we decide if AI is the right solution for the challenge. A big thanks to Daniele Ronca and the ProductLab Community for organising this!

It all started on aฬถ ฬถcฬถฬถrฬถฬถiฬถฬถsฬถฬถpฬถฬถ ฬถ an unnecessarily hot Berlin day when I dฬถrฬถaฬถgฬถgฬถeฬถdฬถ invited my friend to a ProductLab Community event organised by Daniele Ronca at Ahoy! Berlin. Now, Daniele might not be on Forbes' radar ๐™ฎ๐™š๐™ฉ, but the event was fantastic. We met some fascinating people, listened to great talks, and got some excellent book recommendations (Danke, Kenโ€”Marty Caganโ€™s book is next on my list after โ€œMove Fast and Fix Thingsโ€ <3 by Frances Frei & Moriss). One of the presenters, ๐Ÿฅ™Abdo Wahba, offered a chance to chat and get some honest, unfiltered feedback. He said he brings order to chaos and chaos to order, where needed. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity. I was looking for straightforward, actionable feedbackโ€”something that cuts through the fluff and gets straight to the point. And he delivered just that. His feedback was refreshingly direct, no-nonsense and packed with practical, actionable advice. So hereโ€™s a nod to ๐Ÿฅ™Abdo for bringing that much-needed mix of order and chaos. If youโ€™re ever in need of feedback thatโ€™s both insightful and straightforward, heโ€™s the person to talk to.

I joined the ProductLab community after a great experience at a previous meetup back in February, eager to connect with Berlin-based product managers and learn from insightful speakers. ProductLab consistently delivers valuable content, directly relevant to my work as a Lead Product Manager, such as crafting messages for senior stakeholders and lessons from industry experts' experiences. The networking opportunities have been invaluable, allowing me to connect with other product managers and renowned product leaders in Berlin. I highly recommend ProductLab to all product managers in the area. Their events offer deep insights and a chance to meet inspiring peers and leaders.

The other week I took part in two speaking events. One in London, One in Berlin. I call this a european speaking tour! London was a lighting talk, so two stories and wrap up Berlin was a longer slot, so while I listened to advice and cut a lot of content I should have cut more - or ignored the time limit! Not sure when the next European tour will but if you attended thanks for listening and for the question and hope the lessons were useful. Big shoutouts to Paul Pechey and Daniele Ronca for the creating great communities. **CTA: Go and sign up at both** And thanks Cate Czerwinski, Dave Feldman, Hiya Gaine and Jim Beattie for the feedback before hand. โ€ฆsee more

Being a PM can be lonely, overwhelming and challenging. It is also exhilarating and fun! ProductLab has been pivotal for me both as a speaker and now as a volunteer, for providing an opportunity to connect with a community of vibrant network of passionate product managers who are eager to share insights, collaborate on projects, and support each other's career journeys.

If you love Product events in Berlin like I do, you'll start running into friends there over time! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ This time, I attended an event by ProductLab. The room was packed with talented Product Leaders and featured three thought-provoking speakers. Here's the highlight reel: Roland Butler, Head of Product @ Zalando, shared practical leadership tips. Ken Knoll, Interim CPO, discussed how to turn a feature factory team into one that builds features customers need and love. ๐Ÿฅ™Abdo Wahba, CPO @ Offerista Group and Public Speaking Coach, showed us how to present like Product People to stand out. Abdo, Iโ€™ll definitely remember your talk and borrow a few jokes! Daniele Ronca and ProductLab team, thank you for bringing together talented product leaders, the organization was top-notch! We're waiting for August 27th! #Productmanagement #Berlin #PM #community #networking

I really appreciate people who give books as gifts! Nowadays I only buy the paper books I value to keep on my bookshelf for safekeeping. I mainly read/listen to eBooks/Audiobooks. Daniele Ronca gave me one of my all-time favorites in appreciation for my presentation last Thursday at ProductLab's event. My presentation was about a massively overlooked opportunity for Product People to stand-out! Check the comments if you want a free 1-on-1 session to learn more about the topic. For my presentation Daniele gifted me the book "Never Split the Difference" by Christopher Voss. Because it is a gift from Daniele Ronca and it's a book I love and learned a lot from, it has earned a place on my bookshelf, amongst my other favorites! How does your bookshelf look like? What are your favorite books on it?

I had much fun presenting at the community talk hosted/sponsored by Babbel & Amplitude. I have a special place in my heart for events that are jock full of product people because I can go more in-depth when I'm trying to spread the growth gospel and how it all ties back to business. This was also reflected in the questions which are always a lot of fun to answer and show me time and time again how this profession is full of passionate people who want to do something meaningful. Thank you for having me and putting it all together. Esther & Daniele

I developed an interest in product management couple of months ago, found ProductLab community on socials and found the idea behind it amazing therefore I joined. Iโ€™m just in the beginning of my product journey and I find it extremely valuable that I can meet people who already have a lot of experience behind them and they can share their experience with me. The most valuable I find the free of charge knowledge transfer the community provides and the fact that the members of the community are all very friendly and supportive. I would definitely recommend anyone interested in a product world or similar IT spheres to join!

Being part of a bigger product community was the initial motivation. Daniele has definitely put in the effort to make everything so accessible and bring everyone together. The speakers are highly capable. There is always a community one can come back to for support and help. I can definitely recommend it.
