The Weintek HMI/Scada units are awesome. The Weintek units out of the box out perform and out "Feature" all others. The EBPro software is free. SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT are built in with Internal scripting, and JavaScript. The HMIs can be linked to each other to allow updates as well as programmatic recipe/SQL/DB updates across all units on the network. Plus Weintek has moved on from the 1980's graphic images everyone else is using. There is much, much, more. Give them a try you will be happy you did.

G01 this gateway is fantastic: it serves for any integrated modbus server PLC, native MQTT and OPC UA with 15 thousand tags without licensing, very easy integration with SCADA, talks with SQL server database, and My SQL, and the best thing is that it creates the tables without you having to configure anything, just the communication, it can simulate OFF LINE that EBPRO simulates as a physical hmi interface.

This is a good approach to save all data as by human readable text. The structure of JSON-file can be flexible configured, divided to sections (aggregate objects), sub-sections, sub-sub-sections...

I successfully automated a Liquid Filling and Cap Sealing Machine using a Fatek PLC and Weintek HMI. Additionally, I wrote a custom macro in Weintek HMI to integrate with the BC105 Thermal Printer, enabling automatic printing of batch parameters.
📄 Now, whenever a batch is completed, operators can simply press a button on the HMI and the machine will instantly print the parameters.
✅ This ensures complete transparency – eliminating any possibility of manipulation.
✅ Operators and management can instantly verify whether the batch meets requirements or if there are any shortcomings according to the machine’s performance.
💡 The most rewarding part? I was able to deliver this entire project within just 2 days– meeting both the technical and time-sensitive demands of the client.

Designed and implemented a complete monitoring and control system. Here’s what we accomplished:
- Used sensors for temperature, humidity, and differential pressure in each tank.
- Two valves for each tank —one for gas purging and the other for exhaust.
- Designed a pressure-controlled system where the upper and lower pressure limits (set via a Weintek HMI) controlled the system operations.
- Added user-defined upper and lower limits for temperature, pressure, and humidity, with alarms for all these parameters.
- Configured digital feedback for valve statuses (open, closed, or intermediate), displayed on the HMI system monitor for real-time tracking.
- Implemented datalogging to record valve operations (open/close) and high/low alarms for pressure, temperature, and humidity.

The Weintek line is fantastic for the dough. Price point is comparable to automation direct, but it's connectivity and software set it miles ahead of Cmore in my opinion. FYI, I'm not a salesman, just like their stuff.

cMT3092x: I have been eyeing this model since this summer(it is a newer model and from the videos online it looks really good), but haven't gotten a project yet that needs it. Right now I'm using a Weintek MT8050iE with a CLICK PLC and I'm thoroughly impressed. Given the price you pay and the options you have, I think it is leagues ahead of the competition. With that being said, the HMI programming software Easybuilder Pro has a little bit of a learning curve. If you spend a little bit of time watching a couple of Youtube videos you should be up and going in no time.

I have used Weintek products for over 14 years and I have only one word to describe this company, FANTASTIC. The Weintek range of industrial products provide Allen Bradley quality, with a feature set that can match some large-scale SCADA packages, all for a very low cost.

The HMI supports HTML5 and PLC web browser object (these 2 are necessary for hosting any website). Note: not all cMT series from Weintek support web browser, only the advanced versions do.

I am a HUGE proponent of Weintek and EBPro. The software is far better than any AB's HMI software, and the capability is far better than any of AB's capabilities. Also, I'll roll in my minimum amount of knowledge with Unitronics.

I have used their advanced series HMI which has a Codesys runtime on it before. It worked just fine, though the customer required LD and I am not a fan of the Codesys LD editor. I have also used a ton of their iR series remote I/O racks. They are one of my go-to solutions when I need to add I/O to a Modbus or EIP PLC.

In this stage, we commissioned the functionality of four Centronik valves equipped with electronic positioners, utilizing Profibus DP as the communication protocol between our Siemens CPU 1200 series and the associated equipment. The project also involved integrating temperature and pressure sensors and developing a user-friendly HMI interface for the end user.
Our team was actively involved in every stage of the project, starting from electrical work, cable pulling and marking, and lighting system setup, to PLC software development. Additionally, we provided comprehensive training to the beneficiary's personnel to ensure the proper operation and efficient utilization of the installation.
For the HMI development, we leveraged Weintek technology, a versatile solution offering advanced features, including the ability to import user-defined symbols to enhance the interface's functionality and customization.

Trying to get all the basics for each device type and make it so it's easy to scale up if a customer wants more features.

My first experience with Weintek HMI's was with exactly Maple Systems and Steven Engineering ~15 years ago. There was an older gentleman at STEVEN that walked me through the process of migrating a Mitsubishi HMI to the Weintek HMI5070TH and even helped me write some complex macros. That level of support hooked me on Weintek's HMI's ever since, where now we're using the advanced networking features of the cMT line as an edge device to connect to our cloud servers for near-real-time data logging, analysis & visualization.
So getting back to your question, I prefer contacting the manufacturer directly, or a distributor that is highly technical. In this case, both Steven and Maple are very capable sources of support. Sure, I could spend a few hours researching myself, but you just can't beat years of experience and knowledge to kick-start your path. I find that the newer grads have a strong resistance to using this channel, so I let them struggle a bit on their own, then suggest this approach. Manufacturers spend a lot of resources training and grooming their techs, so why not take advantage of them?

So getting back to your question, I prefer contacting the manufacturer directly, or a distributor that is highly technical. In this case, both Steven and Maple are very capable sources of support. Sure, I could spend a few hours researching myself, but you just can't beat years of experience and knowledge to kick-start your path. I find that the newer grads have a strong resistance to using this channel, so I let them struggle a bit on their own, then suggest this approach. Manufacturers spend a lot of resources training and grooming their techs, so why not take advantage of them?
