Weintek Love in the Wild
I used my first brand new Weintek (Maple) cMT3072XH2v2 HMI earlier this year on a job that had a tight budget for a customer's in house/internal R & D project. I had been really wanting to try one anyway and this was the perfect opportunity.
The application was very basic, so I did not get a chance to use any of it's more advanced features..... Next Time..... I believe that if you are an OEM and you use different platforms, (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron....) but basically you produce the same/similar equipment, then this HMI is going to save you engineering hours and $$$$..... My 2 cents.

Water Cooled Chiller System by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Omron and operated via HMI (Human-Machine Interface) Weintek
The objective of this project is the design and implementation of a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system for a Water-Cooled Chiller System through the integration of industrial-grade hardware and software. The system models the air cooling process via water circulation, managed by an Omron PLC and operated through a Weintek HMI. Real-time monitoring is facilitated by an OPC UA server and client framework, with supporting software including CX-Programmer, KEPServerEX, and EasyBuilder.
The developed system has been successfully realized with features of automated control, real-time monitoring, and dependable fault management. The seamless integration of PLC, HMI, and OPC UA illustrates the efficiency of SCADA technology in industrial cooling applications. The project underscores the critical role of integrated system design in enhancing energy performance and ensuring operational reliability.
