PLC: Schneider Electric TM241CE24T HMI: Weintek MT8017iE TR/ Application: Neutralization of acidic gases in the environment according to ppm values was performed using PID control block. EN/ Application: Using PID control, the system performs neutralization based on the ppm values of acidic gases in the environment.

🚀 First phase completed: Full integration of the Intelligent Generation Monitoring Center
The first key stage of one of the most challenging and transformative projects I have worked on is officially concluded: the real-time integration of all the generation plants of Empresa Eléctrica Quito towards a unified, scalable and digitally supervised Smart Monitoring Center.

In early October, I conducted a test of the Fire & Alarm Monitoring system for LVMDB panels at PT Hitachi Astemo, Plant 2 Karawang.
The system is designed to detect increased temperature and smoke presence in stages with different automatic responses at each level:
Level 1: The system provides early warning in the form of a tower lamp on top of the LVMDB panel as well as a yellow warning light in the security area and panel room.
Level 2: The system lights up a red light and buzzer in the panel room as a sign of critical conditions.
Level 3: The system automatically activates the extinguishing valve to deal with potential fires.
In addition, if the smoke sensor detects smoke, the system will also immediately open the extinguishing valve and turn on all warnings at the same time.
This test is part of the integration of Schneider PLC-based systems and Schneider and Weintek's HMIs, which aims to improve the safety and reliability of electrical installations through responsive monitoring and automated actions.

Control panel for the equipment upgrade of an existing waterplay area at a riverside park in regional QLD. IT features Schneider Electric switchgear and a Weintek HMI. The board provided control and water treatment to 3 key areas:
- The "Water Stream" region, where water is pumped into a boat feature and trickling down through a concrete stream.
- "Splashpad" region, where water is pumped into a series of jumping and cascade jets, draining to a perimeter strip drain.
- "Wreck Pool" region, where water is pumped into a shallow pool through eyeballs in one wall, draining through to an overflow grate.
All water then drains to a balance tank where it is then treated and returned to the other end of the tank.

The system is based on advanced Weintek model cMT-FHDX-820 HMI devices, programmed with macros in C language for the calculation and processing of production and consumption data. In addition, the graphical interface was developed in Easy Builder Pro and the information was taken from a Quantum Shcneider PLC in each plant. Each central is connected through a WAN network, sending its critical variables to a central node, and all the information is stored and visualized on the WeinCloud web platform, through executive dashboards.

Pro-Face was my go to until someone recommended Weintek systems to me, I'm now fully converted. I would absolutely never replace or purchase a new PanelView HMI even tho my sites are 100% Allan bradley, i find it completely absurd that they cost 2-3x as much as any other HMI, can only communicate with specific ranges of their own branded PLCs, and the amount of versions and software packages you need is pure insanity. Panelbuilder32, CCW, FTView, and versions all the way from the latest back to v5.00 to be able to upload to the oldest models. If one dies it immediately gets replaced with Weintek without question.

Finally wrapped up the integration of a control system with Schneider TM221 PLC and Weintek HMI MT81. The system handles 25 motors, solenoids, floater switch, and sensors fully controllable in both manual and auto mode.
