The control architecture included: ➡️ Siemens G120 VFDs (x2) ➡️ S7-1214C DC/DC/DC PLC ➡️ Weintek HMI The main objectives were: 🔸 Maintain stable speed control 🔸 Achieve accurate length measurement 🔸 Provide a simple UI for the operator After running multiple test cycles, the machine performance aligned with the expected results — without additional hard wiring and without disturbing the production logic ⚙️ This is the best part of automation: “Small changes, big improvements.” ✨

A PROJECT I’M PROUD OF A couple of years ago, I implemented an automation system for a sugar production facility — the chamber press filter station used for suspension filtration. During this project, I created a 3D model of the collector piping and actuator layout, developed the control algorithm from scratch on a VIPA 300s PLC, and fully built the interfaces for a Weintek HMI panel and a WinCC Professional SCADA system. This was my first PLC, SCADA, and HMI project that I completed entirely on my own. The most rewarding part was seeing the 3D model come to life and watching the mechanisms operate exactly as I had defined in the logic.

I used my first brand new Weintek (Maple) cMT3072XH2v2 HMI earlier this year on a job that had a tight budget for a customer's in house/internal R & D project. I had been really wanting to try one anyway and this was the perfect opportunity. The application was very basic, so I did not get a chance to use any of it's more advanced features..... Next Time..... I believe that if you are an OEM and you use different platforms, (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron....) but basically you produce the same/similar equipment, then this HMI is going to save you engineering hours and $$$$..... My 2 cents.

Total Automation Systems
In this stage, we commissioned the functionality of four Centronik valves equipped with electronic positioners, utilizing Profibus DP as the communication protocol between our Siemens CPU 1200 series and the associated equipment. The project also involved integrating temperature and pressure sensors and developing a user-friendly HMI interface for the end user. Our team was actively involved in every stage of the project, starting from electrical work, cable pulling and marking, and lighting system setup, to PLC software development. Additionally, we provided comprehensive training to the beneficiary's personnel to ensure the proper operation and efficient utilization of the installation. For the HMI development, we leveraged Weintek technology, a versatile solution offering advanced features, including the ability to import user-defined symbols to enhance the interface's functionality and customization.

Part of a set of control panels made for a blowing system, Siemens V20 drives with an S71200. Weintek CMT 15" HMI, and a safety system using IDEM control gear. Power distributed through on a Wohner 160A crossboard, we loved the simplicity of this and the time saved in wiring speaks for itself! Housed in an floor standing ETA enclosure, great build quality as always. 🏭 We specialise in crafting bespoke control solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs. What the... we currently are using weintek with Siemens s7-1500 Easy builder pro 6.10.01.217 and up imports everything automatically with one click also we also use it to pass info from Siemens to Allen Bradley PLC PS as you can suggest we usually use only Allen Bradley with weintek combo it's waaaaaaaaay better then anything with the label Siemens on it
